This service is for non-timed brakes and suppressors. If you want to use a timed brake with this service you must have a self timing brake or a brake with a crush washer. I also carry a variety of brakes that can be installed as well. Please contact for further information on that. Typical turn around is 2 weeks or less.
How does it work?
You will send me your barrel, barreled receiver or complete rifle to have the muzzle threaded. I will thread your muzzle for the size thread that you require. Then it will be shipped back to you. It is most economical to send just a barrel, but the barreled action works as well.
Every muzzle that I thread gets directly dialed in off the bore in two places just behind the muzzle to within 0.0001" with a 0.0001" indicator. It is then single point cut on a high precision lathe. This ensures proper alignment and ZERO baffle strikes with a high quality brake or suppressor! I have threaded hundreds of muzzles and Never had a strike with a matching brake or suppressor for caliber size.
I can cut almost any thread, standard or metric, but the most common are listed below. These are just a guideline and not absolutes.
Thread pitch (recommended minimum barrel diameter)
1/2-28 tpi (.560") Usually everything 6mm and smaller, but can be used on
some larger calibers based on cartridge.
9/16-24 tpi (0.600") Can be used for most cartridges up to 30 cal non magnums.
5/8-24 tpi (0.695") Usually used on larger profile barrels and up to 30 caliber.
3/4-20 tpi (0.815") Usually used on larger bore calibers 338 plus.
1"-14 tpi (1.20") Used on a lot of 50 BMG are large bore rifles.
When choosing in the options choose your caliber, and desired thread pitch. This will let me know what you want. I will contact you if the chosen pitch will not work with your barrel and to verify that is what you want before it's cut. If your thread pitch isn't listed please contact me first.

-If you send me your complete rifle or barreled action, it must go through USPS. I will need a copy of your drivers license included with the package to acquire your rifle to my FFL. When finished it will be mailed back to you.
